The Cast of Panwapa

ATHENA THE OWL: A warm, wise owl with a hint of irreverence, Athena can sense trouble or confusion before the others and often asks questions to help everyone understand things more clearly. Athena lives in a tree in a comfortable nest near the community area.

AZIBO THE MONSTER: Young and boisterous, Azibo is eager to start life in his new surroundings. Azibo has the magnetism and energy of youth, but also its inexperience; often leaping and speaking before looking and thinking. He looks to Athena for guidance in tough situations as well as confirmation and comfort. Azibo lives in a palm frond shack on the beach.

TUNGAR THE TIGER: Organized and orderly, Tungar has his personal routines well crafted and is skeptical of anything new and just a little resistant to change. A loyal friend, he warms up to newcomers with a little time and enjoys coaching the new sheep players in the art of football including his specialty, the subtleties of head passing. He lives in a cave near the stream.

KOKO THE PENGUIN: Whacky and excitable, Koko lives her every moment to the fullest. Funny, emotional and deeply empathetic, Koko thrives on the energy generated by the community and her friends. Koko lives in a quaint cottage near the community area with a garden that she tends with great love and attention.

BILL THE BUG: The brainiac on the island, he is the inventor and go-to guy for gadgets and information. He owns a laptop computer that he is very proud of and always eager to demonstrate. He also maintains the community globe on which he identifies the current location of their beloved floating island. He lives in a tree house crammed full of objects he’s collected over the years.

BAABRA SHEEP AND FAMILY: Displaced by a circus that came to town and took over their field, Baabra is looking for a new, safe place to raise her family. Speaking only Sheep, she is proud and determined but also protective and suspicious others will take advantage of her or her family. They live in a modest house on the football field.
