Baby Elmo is between 12 and 14 months old. He's a happy, good natured baby who laughs easily and heartily. He is the youngest of the crew but keeps up with the other babies despite his age. He can say words such as "hi" and "dada," and imitate other words he hears, but he doesn't have a word for everything. Baby Elmo is very curious, silly and full of energy. While Elmo is a self-confident baby who enjoys exploring his world, he also checks in with his dad to be sure he's close by. |

Baby Big Bird is between 18 and 20 months old. He's a sweet, wide-eyed and inquisitive baby, but a bit reserved. He carries his bear Radar everywhere he goes for security. He is very connected to his Auntie Nani and looks over his shoulder every once and a while to be sure that she's there. Big Bird is a bit clumsy and has mastered walking but often stumbles over his large feet. He is at the beginning stage of putting two word sentences together. He also loves to "parrot" other people's words. Baby Big Bird is good hearted and enjoys being with his friends. |

Baby Cookie Monster is between 14 and 18 months old. He is a blur of activity and he never wants to nap! He went straight from crawling to running and is in a constant state of motion. He is orally dominant - putting most anything and everything in his mouth. Cookie Monster can use single words when he wants to. He'd rather communicate through gestures and monstery grunts than stop to use his words. He is very social, highly energetic and good-natured. |

Baby Prairie Dawn is about 2 years old. She is a willful and decisive baby. She is very precocious and her verbal skills are advanced. She can put two and three words together clearly like "More milk mommy" or "Prairie dress on." She loves to mimic words she hears and sometimes comes out with her own pronunciation of words like triangle, delicious, tomorrow, and bicycle (pronunciation would be "twiango" "dewishaish" "tomowo" and "byciko"). She is very goal directed and loves to play piano and draw. She is advanced verbally, artistically and musically. |

Elmo's Dad is a fun and energetic stay at home dad. He and Elmo have a special father-son connection. They share a lot of laughter and physical play between them. He's not afraid to lift Elmo up in the air and bounce him on his knee. He is often laughing - a trait his little son inherits. Being the only male caregiver in the group, Elmo's dad brings a fresh and unique style of parenting. Elmo's dad is a cool guy who is very musical (Cab Calloway sounding). He injects his musical style in the games and everyday activities he plays with Elmo. |

Nani Bird (Big Bird's Aunt) is very warm and caring toward Baby Big Bird. She has a down to earth and motherly spirit. Her Hawaiian heritage comes out when she sings to her little nui manu (big bird in Hawaiian). She's full of worldly wisdom and is always playful with Big Bird. Nani Bird gently fosters Baby Big Bird's natural curiosity through music as they explore the world together. |

Cookie Monster's Grandma takes great pleasure caring for little Cookie Monster. They have a very warm and loving relationship. She helps Cookie Monster's parents out by watching him during the day and cares for her grandson with old-fashioned monster values. She has a hard time keeping up with her energetic grandson but enjoys his enthusiasm. She has endless patience. Grandma Cookie Monster loves her show tunes and sounds a lot like Ethel Merman. |

Prairie Dawn's Mom is a busy mom on the go. She's a list maker and a schedule-keeper. She does things by the book - sometimes literally, often-consulting parenting books for advice. She has a mellow exterior (in contrast to her baby) and has a deep breathy voice. She enjoys her yoga classes and tries to bring a Zen energy to her parenting. |
